Pursuant to Section 51 of the Canada Marine Act, notice is hereby given that the St. John’s Port Authority (“SJPA”) proposes: (i) to increase all port fees by 2.7% (except the per kilowatt-hour Electricity Service Charge which remains as is) effective the later of March 1, 2022 or 60 days after the last of the notices is given in accordance with the Canada Marine Act; and (ii) for power consumption other than at Piers 6 and 7, to adjust the utility cost portion of the per kilowatt hour Electricity Service Charge at the same rate and at the same time in 2022 as any adjustment approved by the Public Utilities Board.

The current schedule of all port fees and charges is available under the “Forms and Tariffs” tab; with the proposed schedule containing more details here. Alternatively, these documents may be obtained from the SJPA on request; and persons interested in making representations about the proposal may do so, in writing, addressed as follows:
