MTSCP Application

The Marine Transportation Security Clearance (MTSC) Program provides background checks for marine workers that require access to restricted areas or information at marine facilities and ports. The program's purpose is to reduce the risk of security threats caused by unlawful interference with the marine transportation system. The program is administered by Transport Canada and its eligibility requirements are outlined in the Marine Transportation Security Regulations.

Please Note:

Prior to starting the onboarding process , please ensure all documentation is available including;

• Birth Certificate
• Valid Passport (only required if not expired)

Once onboarded, the individual will receive, via email, an invitation code that will expire in 4 days.

Once an applicant completes their TSC application in the Transport Canada System (TSS), the applicant will receive an email to arrange their verification appointment for processing. Please be sure to bring a piece of government-issued photo ID with you.
